Self-aligning ball bearings

Spherical ball bearings have two rows of balls rolling on a single raceway of spherical shape; they are suitable in all cases where perfect alignment, due to construction system, between shaft and shaft seat cannot be achieved.

The PF Quality self-aligning ball bearing consists of two rows of balls and a single spherical raceway on the outer ring.

This type of construction ensures that the bearing is oriented and does not suffer from any kind of misalignment problem.

It is designed for use in applications where there is a possibility of misalignment or where there is considerable shaft deflection. Particularly suitable for operation at high speeds because, of the wide range of rolling bearings, PFQ spherical ball bearings are the ones with the lowest friction.

There are three executions in which these types of bearings are made:

• Bearings in the basic, open design;
• Bearings with built-in seals;
• Open bearings with wider inner ring.
